Andy Carroll is a reported Chelsea transfer target

Chelsea are in dire need of a striker.
Things are not clicking for the Blues’ front men at the moment. Summer signing Alvaro Morata can’t seem to do anything right on the pitch and hasn’t scored for five games, while Michy Batshuayi is not being given a chance by boss Antonio Conte.
The club are now considering a short-term move for West Ham’s Andy Carroll to act as a back-up player for when ‘Plan A’ isn’t working out like it has done a few times for Chelsea this campaign.
The big striker certainly has had his moments as an impact player, most recently when he scored two second-half goals to secure the Hammers a 2-1 win against West Brom earlier this month.
But is Carroll the answer to Chelsea’s goal scoring woes?
Take a look at the stats below showing the impact Carroll has made coming on as a substitute in the Premier League in recent seasons.
